Over the past 30 years, RBZ focused on creating and executing value added real-estate opportunities. With extensive experience in large, complex renovation & construction projects, RBZ will act as developer and will lead the development team. RBZ is known for his creative vision and outside the box thinking when taking undervalued properties and turning them into magnificent hospitality and residential communities.
His hotel industry and development experience has awarded him strategic relationships in every aspect of the business. Prior Joint Ventures with Harvard Endowment Fund, Barclays Capital, Nationwide Insurance Company, and other major real estate investors provided him expertise in managing large development projects.
He has previous experience in Caribbean development in several projects he evaluated and bid on. For the past four years RBZ masterminded the vision of Habacoa and led the team of professionals that advanced the project, already creating significant enhanced value and bringing it to its present stage where it is ready to be executed.
Prior to this project, RBZ executed an $130,000,000 development project at La Torretta Resort in Texas. The project involved renovation (down to skeleton level) of a 20-story, 300-rooms tower, a 70,000 sq. ft. convention center, another 150 rooms in stand-alone structures on the lake and golf course, renovating the golf course, the lake-side marina, adding a stand-alone state of the art 17,000 sq. ft. spa building, 6-pool waterpark and more. The project quality and design resulted in the resort being awarded Four Diamond classification by AAA in record breaking time after it opened in 2009 and was chosen soon thereafter as the best resort hotel in Texas by Condé Nast Reader’s Choice Awards.
RBZ will likely move to the Bahamas for the duration of the construction period.
Mr. Grasley, is a highly experienced multifaceted engineer with a broad range background from design engineering to corporate general management. His demonstrated track record of technical expertise, business management, multifunctional leadership, and high impact, business process improvement, make him a sought-after business leader in the industry. For the past four years he has been supporting RBZ in the development of the project.
Omer has spent his career working in leading Private Equity institutions, including Walton Street Capital, Apollo Global Management, and Madison International Realty. His transaction experience is diverse and encompasses different structures, from single asset and large national portfolio acquisitions to Open-End Funds across asset classes, including hospitality, office, retail, and industrial and over $3.5bn in closings and financings.
Omer is currently Head of Investments at withco, a small-business focused real estate start-up, where he heads strategy, underwriting and execution for the company’s investments.
Omer served in the Israel Defense Forces for several years before attending Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, where he received a Bachelor of Science and a Minor in Real Estate.
Roee currently serves as the Director of Business Performance at REEF Retail. Before joining REEF, Roee served as Co-founder and COO of Student Group Israel, a discount app connecting students with national and local businesses around university campuses, which he co-founded.
From 2005 to 2015 Roee served as an officer, Major (res), in the Israel Defense Forces and was awarded the 2010 IDF Chief of the General Staff Excellence Award for noteworthy service. Roee has a graduate degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs 2021. He has an undergraduate degree from the Lala Tusk Radzyner Honors Program at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya Israel where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
